Graduate Support

Together we are a community that never gives up on a child.

Epiphany currently has 130 graduates attending high school and college. These schools range from excellent charter and pilot schools in the city to private day schools in Greater Boston and independent boarding schools throughout New England. Whatever school they attend, our graduates must, we believe, have on-going support in order to take full advantage of their educational opportunities.

Our Directors of Graduate Support,  Lino Sanchez and Erika Forrest, connect with each graduate by visiting them at their schools, meeting formally with their families, sending out monthly newsletters, and facilitating graduates’ access to necessary academic, social, and health services. In addition, there are a handful of graduate events spread throughout the year.

Last Dollar Scholarship
The Graduate Support Office administers our Last Dollar Scholarship, a fund split among members of the graduating class. These scholarships are awarded to students attending parochial or private schools whose families may be unable to entirely cover necessary costs, such as books, school supplies, or outstanding tuition beyond what a school has offered in financial aid. The Last Dollar Scholarship allows students to thrive at high schools that they might otherwise be unable to attend.

To contribute the Last Dollar Scholarship, please visit Online Giving and in the “Comments” field, please note that you want your gift to support this fund.

“Epiphany will always be a place that I come back to.”

Graduates may return to Epiphany after school, every day if they wish, and attend dinner and evening study hall to receive tutoring, all free of charge. We have made available part-time jobs serving as the school’s receptionist, summer jobs at our Summer Intensive at Groton School, as well as access to other summer opportunities in and around Boston.
